TIE Fighters

The cockpit canopy fits perfectly right out of the box, no sanding needed. My son and I built this in an afternoon, and the snap-together design makes it great for beginners.

Snapping the twin ion engine pods onto the wings took no time, and the molded panel lines look sharp even before painting. My ten-year-old needed a hand with the smaller greebles, but we had the whole fighter assembled in one afternoon.

I grabbed this for a weekend build with my nephew and the plastic parts snapped together cleanly with barely any flash to trim. Painting the cockpit and wings took most of the afternoon, and the finished fighter looks sharp on his shelf.
