Hoarding Go-229

The panel fit is tight enough that even the wing seams needed barely any filler, which surprised me for a Level 4. It's a proper little challenge, but the final shape of that flying wing looks fantastic on the shelf.

I’ve built a lot of Level 4 kits, and the fit on these wings was surprisingly tight for such a tricky flying-wing shape—the seams barely needed filler. Took me three evenings, but the panel lines are crisp enough that even a basic wash makes it pop on the shelf.

Finally getting to build the Horten Go 229 was exactly the kind of advanced challenge I wanted, and the 1:72 scale makes it perfect for display without taking up too much shelf space. The Level 4 kit is clearly for experienced hands, as the tiny parts require patience and a steady touch.
