P-51D-5NA Mustang (early version)

I’ve been building models for years and this kit’s fit is superb; the wings lock into the fuselage with virtually no seam work needed. The cockpit detail alone makes it worth the price, especially that complex gun sight and instrument panel.

At 1:32 scale, this kit captures the Mustang’s long, elegant nose and the razorback-to-bubble canopy transition perfectly—the cockpit detail alone is worth the price. Took me three evenings just to assemble the engine cowling, but every piece clicked cleanly and the decals settled without silvering.

The panel lines and rivet details are razor-sharp, and at 1:32 scale it really captures the early D-model’s sleek profile. Took me a weekend to build, and the fit was tight enough that I barely needed filler. Absolutely worth it for any Mustang fan.
