Here you have an all-round, worry-free package in your hands that gives you everything you need to get started right at the kitchen table or in your workshop. You can immediately concentrate fully on building this American legend without having to search for materials beforehand.

This is what sets this kit apart

• Everything included: Basic paints, glue and brushes are included directly in the set - ideal for an immediate start.
• Revolutionary technology: Detailed replica of the multi-part V8 engine, which is positioned as a mid-engine for the first time in this model.
• Latest forms: The kit is based on new tool shapes and guarantees you a high level of accuracy and fine details.
• Open design: As a convertible version, the model provides a clear view of the detailed interior.
• Authentic look: An extensive decal with various license plates (D, A, NL, B, F, GB, I, USA, RUS) provides the final, realistic touch.
• Balanced level: With 149 pieces and level 3, the set is perfect for you if you have already gained some experience in model building.

Chevrolet changed everything with the C8, and it's exactly this radical change that you're bringing home with this kit. On a scale of 1:25, a model is created piece by piece that immediately catches the eye due to its changed proportions. Since this is a convertible, you can pay special attention to the interior when assembling it - it will remain visible later and is a highlight of this set.

The included Aqua Color colors are perfectly matched to the plastic material. Thanks to the included Contacta Professional Mini adhesive, you can connect the components precisely. Regardless of whether you want to expand your collection or spend a relaxing weekend with a worthwhile project: This set offers you the perfect balance of sophistication and crafting pleasure.

Background information

The Corvette C8 marks probably the biggest turning point in the brand's 60-year history. For decades, the long hood with front engine was the trademark of the “Vette”. With the C8, Chevrolet switched to the mid-engine concept, in which the power pack is located in front of the rear axle. This ensures a completely new weight distribution and performance at supercar level. The convertible is a technical masterpiece: the hardtop folds elegantly behind the driver. The additional weight of around 40 kilograms compared to the coupe results almost entirely from this complex convertible top mechanism - a detail that underlines the engineering skill of the original.
