Maverick's F-14A Tomcat "Top Gun" - Brick System

Maverick's F-14A Tomcat: Build the hero of your youth

There are films that stay with you throughout your life and scenes that you never forget. But often the fascination only remains on the screen, or you only find small toy models that don't do justice to the power of the original. With this solid clamping building block set you can bring the real "Top Gun" atmosphere into your living room. This set solves the problem of a lack of tactility in film memorabilia: you build memories of wild flight maneuvers and real camaraderie scene by scene. It's more than just a model; it's a tribute to the cult film, brick by brick.

Why this set is your next big project

• Iconic mechanics: Like the original, you can swivel the wings (swivel wing design) - perfect for the high-speed look.
• Full interaction: The landing gear extends and retracts and the armament is easily detachable to simulate various missions.
• Gigantic dimensions: At a scale of 1:32 with a wingspan of over 60 cm and 2687 parts, this model is an absolute heavyweight.
• Building fun for adults: Designed for builders ages 18 and up, this set provides hours of challenging construction fun.
• Revell Brick System: High-quality, precise terminal blocks guarantee stability without glue.

The F-14 Tomcat is the undisputed star of Top Gun, and this Brick System set impressively captures its aesthetic. You will be amazed at how the massive fuselage and the characteristic air inlets are created from almost 2,700 individual parts. It's a building process that requires patience but rewards you with a spectacular result.

Unlike static, stick-on plastic models, this set invites interaction with its robust features. Fold the wings back for supersonic flight or extend the landing gear for carrier landing. Whether as the centerpiece of your showcase or as the ultimate gift for a film fan: this is where nostalgia meets modern building block technology.

Background information

The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was the backbone of US naval aviation for decades and became a global legend thanks to the 1986 film. Its ability to change wing geometry in flight made it unique: wide spread for takeoffs and landings on short aircraft carrier decks, and arrow-shaped for speeds beyond Mach 2. In the film, it was presented not just as a weapon, but as a symbol of flying skill and coolness. This model captures the exact machine with which Maverick dominated the airspace and competed against the fictional MiG-28.
