Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of plastic models. The 14 ml paint can, which is popular with many hobbyists, can also be used to paint many other materials. All colors - except signal color - can be mixed with each other and can be diluted with 'Revell Color Mix'. This means that the paint can be applied not only with a brush, but also with a spray gun. The cleaning agents used are 'Revell Painta Clean' for the brushes and 'Revell Airbrush Clean' for the spray gun.

The RAL 7021 grey is spot on for the panel lines and hatches on my 1/35 kit, and the 14ml tin has plenty left after two full coats. It brushes on smooth without any brush strokes.

This enamel covers plastic without eating into it, which is why I keep coming back to these little 14ml tins for detail work. Two thin coats gave me a flat, even grey with no brush marks showing through. Dries slow enough that I can blend edges but not so slow that it stays tacky overnight.
