The Eurofighter is currently the outstanding high-performance multi-role combat aircraft of the latest generation. With a top speed of Mach 2.0+, the Eurofighter is capable of both long-range and close-range air combat as well as air-to-ground operations. It is primarily designed as a fighter aircraft for airspace security and is equipped with a mixed armament of powerful short and medium-range air-to-air guided missiles.
