Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of plastic models. The 14 ml paint can, which is popular with many hobbyists, can also be used to paint many other materials. All colors - except signal color - can be mixed with each other and can be diluted with 'Revell Color Mix'. This means that the paint can be applied not only with a brush, but also with a spray gun. The cleaning agents used are 'Revell Painta Clean' for the brushes and 'Revell Airbrush Clean' for the spray gun.

Painted a 1:72 Spitfire with this and the brush flow was surprisingly smooth for an enamel — no thinning needed straight from the can. The color depth is exactly what RAL 5022 should look like, and it dries to a nice semi-gloss sheen.

The 14ml can is plenty for a couple of small kits, and the enamel formula went on smooth without touching the plastic underneath. It dried to a proper glossy night-blue finish that looks almost wet in good light.
