The Bismarck was, along with the Tirpitz, the largest battleship in World War II. The 251 m long ship was put into service on August 24, 1940. After completing the training trips, she took part in the Rheinübung company. On May 24, 1941, she sank the British battle cruiser H.M.S. in a sea battle off Greenland. Hood. The Bismarck, which had damage to its bow, then set course for a French port. While being pursued by British ships and aircraft, the ship was disabled on May 27, 1941 and sank in the Atlantic. Finely structured components with rivets and recessed sheet metal joints authentically represent this impressive battleship. Other features of the kit include the movable gun turrets, with individual movable tubes.

Riley ★★★★★

The die-cast hull has an impressive weight that makes it feel really substantial on the shelf, and the 251 meters of scale detail is spot-on for a WWII buff like me. I’ve already spent hours admiring the gun turrets and deck markings.

Hazel V. ★★★★★

Finally got to assemble this and the 251 meter scale feels spot on compared to historical references. The hull pieces snapped together tightly with no gaps.

Andrew ★★★★★

The level of detail on the model is incredible, right down to the scale of the 251-meter hull. I spent hours just examining the deck fittings and turrets—it really captures the feel of the Bismarck from its August 1940 commissioning.
