Background information

The Challenger 1 played a key role in British military history as the main battle tank from 1983 to 2001. He received his baptism of fire in the Gulf War of 1991, where he distinguished himself through exceptional marksmanship. The massive 1,200 hp engine gave the 62-ton colossus a remarkable speed of 56 km/h.
