PzKpfw VI Ausf. H Tiger

The rotating turret actually turns smoothly, which I didn't expect from a kit at this price. The injection molded chain with separate sections looks way better than the rubber band tracks I've dealt with before. Fit on the hull panels was tight with barely any flash to clean up.

The early Tiger's roller arrangement is a detail most kits get wrong, and this one has it right. The injection-molded track sections went together with almost no cleanup, which saved me a whole evening. Turret spins smoothly too.

The rotating turret clicks into place nicely and the segmented tracks are a breeze to dry-fit. Mine took a couple evenings to assemble, and the early-style rollers give it the proper late-1942 look once painted.
