Model Set HMMWV M1097A2

The troop transport and patrol configurations are both represented well, so you can build it either way. I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp the panel lines are for a kit in this price range, and the whole thing looks sharp on the shelf.

Assembly took me a quiet evening, but the troop transport configuration feels solid once the wheels are seated. The olive drab plastic has a nice matte finish that photographs well, though a couple of panel lines needed a bit of cleanup.

The cargo area on this model is nicely detailed for troop transport setups. I just wish the instructions showed a few more callouts for the smaller decals. Still, it's a solid kit with good parts fit.
